Charges Are Facing Three

A Trenton man has been charged in connection with a recent disturbance, while another local man is facing charges of DWI and domestic assault and a third person was arrested after failing to appear in court.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Levi G. Bell, 34, has been charged with peace disturbance, a class B misdemeanor, and resisting arrest. He is accused of causing alarm to Ashley Duty and Kendra Hanes on Monday and for resisting an arrest by Trenton Police Sgt. Jeb Walker. He is being held in the Grundy County Detention Center on $3,000 cash-only bond and is scheduled to be in court Aug. 23.
Also arrested was Kenneth R. Kincaid, Jr., 39, Trenton, who is charged with violating an adult abuse order by entering the residence of the subject for whom the order was issued. He is also charged with driving while intoxicated for operating a vehicle near the intersection of Ninth and Jefferson streets while under the influence. Kincaid also faces a charge of third degree domestic assault for having physical contact with a female household member knowing she would find it offensive. A fourth charge, careless and imprudent driving by excessive speed, has also been filed. Kincaid is being held in the GCDC on $7,000 cash-only bond and is scheduled to be in court Aug. 23.
A third person, Samuel S. Storer, Trenton, was arrested after failing to appear in court on a class C felony charge of possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana. He is being held on $15,000 cash-only bond and is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 18. His probation has also been suspended.
