Ticket Issued In Recent Mishap

One driver was ticketed following an accident investigated April 16 at the intersection of Merrill and 18th streets.
According to Trenton Police Officer Derek Kolb’s report, the mishap occurred when a car driven by Kayla M. Grebner of Trenton was westbound on West 18th Street. She said her vision was obstructed by the sun and she didn’t see the stop sign at 18th Street and drove through it, striking a truck driven by Donald L. Valeka of Trenton. The car then slid into a mailbox at 309 W. 18th St., breaking it off.
Ms. Grebner was ticketed for failing to stop for a stop sign.
