Two area residents were arrested over the weekend, one on a charge of passing bad checks and one for violating the terms of his probation.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Patrica J. Todd, a 48-year-old Trenton resident, was arrested Friday on a class A misdemeanor of passing bad checks. She is accused of writing a $58 check to Affordable Vet Care on Sept. 29, 2014, knowing it would not be paid. She has posted $450 cash bond and is scheduled to appear in court April 12.
Also arrested and being held in the Grundy County Detention Center was Miles D. Knapp, 23, Trenton, who is accused of violating the terms of his probation on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance. His bond was set at $15,000 cash-only and he is scheduled to appear in court April 14.
