Two area residents are being returned to Grundy County from Greene County to face charges in unrelated incidents.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Jeremy J. Osburn, 21, Trenton, has been charged with distribution/delivery/manufacture/production of a controlled substance, a class B felony. He is accused of knowingly distributing methamphetamine to a Missouri State Highway Patrol narcotics officer on Dec. 17, 2015, knowing of its illegal nature and substance.
Osburn is being held on $50,000 cash-only bond and is scheduled to appear in court March 8.
Also scheduled to appear in court March 8 is 17-year-old Adam T. Turner of Galt, who is charged with the class C felony of attempted first degree sexual abuse. He is accused of knowingly subjecting a child under the age of 14 to sexual contact by cutting her shirt, bra and underwear while she was asleep, which was a substantial step toward the commission of the crime of sexual abuse. The incident allegedly occurred on Feb. 9.
Turner is being held on $15,000 cash-only bond.
