Man Charged With Resisting Arrest; Woman Faces Check Charge

A  Trenton man has been charged with trespassing and resisting arrest, with cash bond set.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Jonathon B. Woods, 24, was arrested and charged with trespassing on railroad property, a class A misdemeanor. He is also charged with resisting arrest for fleeing on foot when Grundy County Deputy Seth Cox attempted to arrest him. Woods is being held on cash-only bonds totaling $7,500 and is scheduled to appear in court Jan. 26.
Also arrested was Katherine L. Cranmer, 59, Jamesport, who is facing a class A misdemeanor charge of passing bad checks. She is accused of writing a check to Amoco-Trenton BP on Aug. 25, 2015, knowing it would not be paid. She has posted $600 cash-only bond and is scheduled to appear in court Jan. 26.
