Trenton Women Are Arrested

Two Trenton women have been arrested, including one charged with passing bad checks and one who is accused of violating the terms of her probation.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Christina L. Baker, 35, was arrested on two misdemeanor counts of passing bad checks. She is accused of writing a check to Hy-Vee for $30 on July 28 and another one to Hy-Vee for $100.25 on Aug. 18, knowing they would not be paid. She has posted $750 cash-only bond and is scheduled to appear in court Nov. 24.
Also arrested was Sarah G. Waldrep, 28, Trenton, who is accused of violating the terms of her probation on an original charge of endangering the welfare of a child. Ms. Waldrep is being held on $300 cash-only bond and is also scheduled to appear in court Nov. 24.
