Two Arrested, One For Burglary, One For Forgery

A Trenton man has been arrested and charged with two counts of second degree burglary while a Browning man is being held on two counts of forgery.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, 17-year-old Hayden R. McGill has been charged in connection with two burglaries on Oct. 31. He is accused of entering an inhabitable structure at 1313 Lord St., possessed by Sheila Coon, and one at 1916 E. 13th St., Apt. D, possessed by Bobby Gormley, for the purpose of stealing. Both counts are class C felonies. McGill is being held on $20,000 cash or corporate surety bond and is scheduled to appear in court Nov. 10.
Also arrested was Robert L. Wood III, 43, Browning, who is charged with two class C felony counts of forgery after passing two checks on Nov. 21, 2014 on a personal account belonging to Charlene Bendure, knowing they had been made to look as though they had been made by another. One check was to Hy-Vee for $135, while the other check was to Orscheln’s for $690. Wood is being held on $15,000 cash or corporate surety bond and is scheduled to appear in court Nov. 10.
