Man Held In Local Burglary

A Trenton man is being held in the Grundy County Detention Center after being arrested for conspiracy to commit burglary.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Alexander J. Curtis, 20, Trenton, has been charged with conspiracy to commit burglary in the second degree, a class D felony. He is accused of facilitating the offense of burglary in the second degree on Oct. 31 by conspiring with Hayden McGill that one of them would enter unlawfully the residence of Sheila Coon at 1313 Lord St. and that in furtherance of the conspiracy, McGill did enter the residence unlawfully.
Curtis is being held on $10,000 cash or corporate surety bond and is scheduled to appear in court Nov. 10.
Also arrested was Levi G. Bell, 33, Trenton, who failed to appear in court or pay on a charge of second degree property damage. He has posted $350 cash-only bond and is also scheduled to appear in court Nov. 10.
