Woman Released After Posting Bond

A Princeton woman has been released after posting bond on a charge of passing bad checks.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Princeton resident Tara McCloud, 31, is charged with the class A misdemeanor of passing bad checks. She is accused of writing a check for $5.60 to Trenton Main Stop on Jan. 3, knowing it would not be paid. She has posted $350 cash-only bond and is scheduled to appear in court July 14.
