Two persons have been arrested for failing to appear in court.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Oliver E. Vandevender, 41, Trenton, was arrested for failing to appear in court on charges of driving while intoxicated and unlawful operation of an all-terrain vehicle. He has posted bonds totaling $600 cash and is expected to appear in court July 14.
Also arrested was Robert D. Smith, 25, Ridgeway, who was arrested and posted bonds totaling $500 cash in Harrison County. He is accused of failing to appear in court in Grundy County on charges of driving while revoked and operating a motor vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner. He is also scheduled to appear in court July 14.
