Three Are Arrested Over The Weekend

Two women and a man were arrested over the weekend, including one person charged with writing bad checks.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Brandy L. Streett, 32, is charged with a class A misdemeanor of passing bad checks, accused of writing two checks in 2014, knowing they would no be paid. One check was written to Kelly’s Fireworks on July 4 for $93.14, while the other check was written to Amoco on April 29 for $72.19. She has posted $850 cash-only bond and is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday.
Also arrested was Heidi M. Day, 29, Trenton, who is accused of violating the terms of her probation on an original charge of conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance near a school. She is being held in the Grundy County Detention Center on $15,000 cash-only bond and is scheduled to be in court April 16.
A third person, Duane L. Jeffers, Jr., 47, Trenton, was arrested for failing to appear in court or pay on original charges of unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and possession/transport/manufacture/sale of weapons, both class A misdemeanors. He is being held in the GCDC on $800 cash-only bond and is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday.
