Trenton Fire Department
Dec. 15: firefighters were called to 1432 Merrill St., where a sump pump in the basement had caught fire. The fire was extinguished and a fan was used to remove smoke from the residence, which is owned by Ron Rose and occupied by June Marsh. Firefighters were on the scene for approximately 25 minutes.
