Four Injured In Area Accident

Jul 17, 2014 | Accidents, Law Enforcement

Four Princeton residents received injuries in a one-vehicle accident on Wednesday morning on Highway 136, nine miles east of Bethany.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said that the driver of the vehicle, Ciara Grams, 22, received serious injuries along with a passenger, Jenny Miller, 37. Both women were taken to the Harrison County Community Hospital at Bethany, then later transported by helicopter to Saint Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City. Keith Watson, 25, received minor injuries while two-year-old Layla Grams received minor injuries. Both were taken to the Bethany hospital.
The patrol said the vehicle was eastbound on Highway 136, crossed the center line and traveled off the north side of the road. The vehicle then struck an embankment and fence, overturning and coming to rest on its wheels, facing northwest in a field. The vehicle was demolished.
The accident was investigated by Cpl. J.S. Johnson, assisted by the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department.
