A sport utility vehicle was damaged in an accident investigated by the Trenton Police Department on Tuesday.
According to Officer Keith Edmonston’s accident report, the mishap occurred at the intersection of Ninth and Main streets where a tractor-trailer rig driven by Gail Siemer of 547 N.W. Fifth Ave. was stopped on Main Street, waiting for the light to change. When it did, his vehicle rolled back slightly, striking a sport utility vehicle driven by Crystal Golden of Spickard, which was behind the semi. Siemer did not realize he had struck the SUV and continued traveling through town, eventually stopped on the north edge of Trenton. There was no damage to the semi. Ms. Golden’s SUV had cracked plastic on the bumper and possible other internal damage. No tickets were issued and no injuries were reported.
