Gott Arrested At His Residence

A Trenton man was to be released to the custody of U.S. Marshals after being arrested at his home Thursday afternoon.
William Dale Gott, 48, was arrested at his residence at 1612 Carnes St., Thursday afternoon when a federal warrant was served. He is charged with possession of methamphetamine, a schedule II controlled substance. He is accused of possessing more than five grams of the drug.
Agencies participating in the serving of the warrant were the NITRO Task Force, Grundy County Sheriff’s Department and the Trenton Police Department.
