Numerous people have been arrested recently, including three people who are charged in connection with the theft of a Grundy County truck.
Several Arrested By Sheriff’s Office
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Jackson Anderson and William Kyle Swartz, both of Trenton, and Katie L. Coram of Galt, are charged in connection with the theft of a 1998 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck owned by the Grundy County Road and Bridge crew. The truck was damaged, as was a welder that was on it. Swartz, 18, is charged with theft and property damage. Anderson, 19, Ms. Coram, 17, have been charged with two counts each of receiving stolen property. All three are both being held on $20,000 cash or corporate surety bond and they are all scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
Also arrested was Stephanie S. Miller, 37, Galt, who is charged with theft of a credit card in connection with an incident in which she allegedly appropriated a credit card owned by Clarence Coursey. She has posted $15,000 bond and is scheduled to appear inc court Tuesday.
Another woman, Chrystal Kennedy, 29, of Trenton, is charged with stealing. She is accused of stealing a controlled substance, hydroco-done, which was prescribed to David Johnson. She is being held on $15,000 cash or corporate surety and is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday.
A Trenton man, David Lee Shiner, 20, of Trenton, is being held in the Grundy County Detention Center on $15,000 bond for failing to appear in court on five counts of forgery. Additional charges are expected to be filed against Shiner.
