No One Injured In Ninth and Main Mishap
According to Officer Cyle Fewins’ report, the accident occurred when a car driven by Emmanuel G. KhogaliLado of Milan was traveling westbound on Ninth Street at the intersection with Main Street. He was stopped in traffic with other vehicles, waiting for a red light to turn green. When the light turned green, traffic began moving, then stopped when a car in the line stopped to give money to someone holding a fundraiser in the intersection. The truck traveling in front of KhogaliLado, which was driven by Matthew P. King of 1909 Moberly St., stopped in the line of traffic and KhogaliLado could not get stopped before striking King’s truck from behind. There was minor damage to King’s truck and moderate damage to the car.
KhogaliLado, 29, was ticketed for following another vehicle too closely.
