An accident investigated Friday morning resulted in moderate damage to two vehicles, but no injuries.

According to Trenton Police Officer Randy Burks’ report, the accident occurred when a van driven by Tyson Otto of 220 N.E. Highway N, was westbound on East Ninth Street and stopped in traffic to wait for oncoming traffic to clear in order to pull into a business lot. A van driven by Wendy A. Shuler of 315 S. Johnson Dr., was also westbound on Ninth Street, traveling behind Otto’s van. Mrs. Shuler did not realize Otto’s van had stopped and struck it from behind.
Mrs. Shuler, 40, was ticketed for following another vehicle too closely.
