A ticket was issued to a man accused of being the driver in a hit-and-run accident.

According to Trenton Police Officer Keith Edmonston’s report, a witness reported that a van had struck a car, owned by Brenda Thomas of 1411 Tindall Ave., and gave the officer the license plate number for the vehicle. The vehicle checked to Michael C. Boggs of 1201 W. Lawn Street. When questioned by police, Boggs said he did not remember his van striking the car, which had sustained moderate damage to the front bumper and underskirting. There was no damage to the van.
Boggs, 56, was ticketed for leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident.
