The Trenton Police Department investigated two accidents recently.

The first accident occurred Monday afternoon near 12th and Cedar streets. According to Officer Keith Edmonson’s report, a vehicle driven by Vincent Hahn of Trenton was northbound on Cedar Street, approaching the intersection with 12th Street. A vehicle driven by Ronald Roberts of Trenton entered the intersection and impacted the Hahn vehicle in the left front of the driver’s side. Roberts stated he looked to be sure the intersection was clearn, but Hahn’s vehicle was in his blind spot. There were no injuries or tickets issued.
The second accident occurred on Tuesday about midday at Ninth and Main streets. According to Officer Josh Gott’s report, a vehicle driven by Dennis Sullivan of Spickard was westbound on Ninth Street approaching the intersection. As he slowed his vehicle for traffic stopped in front of him, his foot slipped off the brake. When he attempted to resume braking he accidently hit the accelerator, which caused him to hit the vehicle in front of him, driven by Tara Griffin of Trenton. The report noted the roadway was covered with sand following the recent snow removal. There were no injuries or tickets issued.
