Hit-And-Run on Custer Street

A hit-and-run accident was investigated Friday on Custer Street.

Trenton Police Officer Josh Gott investigated the accident, which was reported by Lois G. Smith of 717 Kitty St. She said she had parked her vehicle, northbound, on Custer Street and went into a business. When she came out, she found damage to the front driver’s side bumper and a white paint transfer. She described a white vehicle that had been in the area and the subject who owned that vehicle was questioned and said he did not believe his vehicle struck the car. In addition, Officer Gott said there was no damage to that subject’s vehicle that would be consistent with striking Mrs. Smith’s car.
