Two accidents were investigated Wednesday by the Trenton Police Department, including a minor mishap near the intersection of Seventh and Main streets.

According to Lt. Rex Ross’ report, the accident occurred when a car driven by Rosa Lee Allnutt of 222 Maupin St., was backing from an alleyway and failed to see a car driven by Donna Lou McCracken of 426 W. 10th St., which was eastbound on Seventh Street. The left rear of Ms. Allnutt’s car struck the right side of Ms. McCracken’s car, causing minor damage to both vehicles.
No one was injured in the mishap and no tickets were issued.
Another mishap occurred on Princeton Road, near 20th Street, where a truck pulling a trailer and driven by Seth Denlinger of Jamesport went off the shoulder of the road and struck a utility pole. The pole, owned by Trenton Municipal Utilities, was moved, but not broken, and had to be straightened. The truck sustained moderate damage in the mishap, which was investigated by Det. Jerry Smith.
