Vehicle Towed After Ninth Street Mishap
According to Trenton Police Officer Josh Gott’s accident report, a truck driven by Rachel Dilks of Wheeling was eastbound on Ninth Street when she slowed her vehicle due to traffic stopped in front of her. Her truck was then struck from behind by a car driven by Kylie D. Douglas of Brookfield, which was also eastbound. There was moderate damage to Ms. Douglas’ car, which had to be towed from the scene, and minor damage to the truck. No one reported injuries in the mishap.
Ms. Douglas, 18, was ticketed for following another vehicle too closely. Ms. Dilks, 30, was ticketed for failing to display valid vehicle license plates and failing to maintain financial responsibility for a vehicle.
