Woman Injured In Mishap West Of Trenton

A Trenton woman escaped serious injury in an accident investigated west of Trenton Tuesday afternoon by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

According to Sgt. Doug Little’s report, the accident occurred when a car driven by Lois A. Griffin was eastbound on Highway 6, about seven miles west of Trenton. Her vehicle traveled across the center line and went off the north side of the roadway, striking a guardrail and becoming airborne. The vehicle, which was totaled, came to rest on its wheels.
Mrs. Griffin was taken to Wright Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Trooper Adam McAtee, the Grundy County Ambulance Service and the Grundy County Sheriff’s Department assisted at the accident scene.
