A ticket was issued to one driver following a non-injury accident Thursday morning.

According to Trenton Police Officer Jerry Smith’s report, the accident occurred when a car driven by Kristyne J. Israel of Spickard was westbound on Ninth Street and failed to notice in time that the car in front of her, driven by Sarah J. DeVorss of Spickard, had stopped for a red traffic light. Ms. Israel’s car struck Ms. DeVorss’ car from behind. There was moderate damage to Ms. Israel’s car and minor damage to Mrs. DeVorss’ car.
Ms. Israel, 17, was ticketed for following another vehicle too closely.
