One person was ticketed following a minor, non-injury accident Wednesday near the intersection of Grant and Ninth streets.

According to Trenton Police Officer Larry Smith’s report, the accident occurred when a car driven by Michael G. Boggs of 1201 Lawn St., was northbound on Grant and didn’t realize that his car had started moving forward, rolling into a sport utility vehicle driven by George R. Moore of 317 S. Johnson Dr. Boggs said he had been “messing around” with his cell phone when the accident occurred.
There was only minor damage to Boggs vehicle and no apparent damage to Moore’s SUV.
Boggs, 54, was ticketed for following another vehicle too closely.
