According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Department, 20-year-old William D. Dupont Barnett of 1031 McPherson St., was arrested Wednesday night by the Trenton Police Department on a fugitive warrant from Stanislaus County, CA. Barnett is accused of failing to appear in court on a felony charge of assault with a deadly weapon. He has waived extradition and will be returned to California to face the charge.
