According to Sgt. Kris Schmidt’s report, Bartholomew D. Lane of Jamesport was driving a pickup truck pulling a trailer and was stopped westbound on Ninth Street in the left turn lane at the intersection with Main Street. Lane realized he had pulled his vehicle too far into the intersection and began backing up. He did not see a car driven by Charlotte Sprinkle of 90 S.W. 30th Ave., which was traveling directly behind his vehicle. His trailer struck Ms. Sprinkle’s car, causing minor damage to her car. There was no damage to the trailer.
