According to a report filed by Trenton Police Officer Seth Rorebeck, the accident occurred when Tommy J. Graham of 910 Olive St., was traveling east on East Ninth Street. As he started to make a right turn onto Kitty Street, he dropped his cell phone and as he bent down to pick it up, he failed to see a car driven by Tiffany M. Brewer of 1315 Cedar St., which was approaching the intersection. The front of Graham’s truck impacted the front driver’s side of Ms. Brewer’s car, causing substantial damage to both vehicles. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
Ms. Brewer was taken by Grundy County Ambulance to Wright Memorial Hospital for evaluation after complaining of her head hurting. Graham said his neck hurt, but he refused to be transported.
Graham, 46, was ticketed for failing to drive on the right half of the roadway.
