According to a report filed by Trenton Police Officer Larry Smith, the accident occurred when a car driven by Kelsey M. Richardson of Brookfield struck a sport utility vehicle driven by Sara A. Davids of Leawood, KS, from behind after Mrs. Davids had stopped her vehicle to allow one in front of her to turn left.
Ms. Richardson, as well as her passenger, Shelly McElhaney of 1030 Custer St., and an infant passenger in Mrs. Davids’ vehicle, Jackson Davids, were all taken by ambulance to Wright Memorial Hospital. Another passenger in Mrs. Davids’ vehicle, Catherine S. Smith of 3914 Little Woods Dr., went to WMH on her own for treatment of injuries.
Ms. Richardson, 19, was ticketed for careless and imprudent driving by striking a vehicle stopped in traffic.
