A Trenton man sustained moderate injuries in an accident Wednesday afternoon in the northern part of the county.

According to a report filed by Missouri Highway Patrol Trooper T.B. Ziegler, the accident occurred when a dump truck driven by Gregory D. Olson was northbound on Route A. The truck traveled off the east side of the roadway, overturned and came to rest on its wheels on the east side of the road.
Olson was taken by Grundy County Ambulance to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton, where he was treated for moderate injuries. A summons is pending, according to the report.
In addition to the Grundy County EMS, the patrol was assisted by the Grundy County Sheriff’s Department, Missouri Department of Transportation and Spickard Fire and Rescue.
