The Spickard Board of Aldermen met Monday evening, with an amendment made to the minutes of the previous meeting and board members discussing a sewer charge at a property.
According to the minutes provided by City Clerk Amy Chapman, the board unanimously approved an amendment to the minutes of the Jan. 13 meeting. The part that was amended included removing “the board finding out about the land about the water tower.”
Board members met with Charles Dunkin to discuss a property after which they unanimously approved dropping the sewer cost for the property and setting the water at the city’s cost above the minimum. The board also met with Kendall Anglin to discuss water damage to her house. No action on that discussion was listed in the minutes.
In other business, the board voted to advertise for the lagoon hay ground for 2022, with sealed cash bids accepted until April 1. A water and sewer report was heard. The financial report was approved and the board voted to pay the November claims with the exception of the ASC Pumping Equipment bill.
The next regular meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. Monday, March 14 at city hall.
