Shoebox Packing Party

More than 450 empty shoe boxes were transformed into “gifts of hope” as part of the Trenton First Baptist Church packing party for Operation Christmas Child, held on Wednesday night, Nov. 13 at the church activity center. Both youth and adults assisted in filling the shoeboxes with toys, school supplies and hygiene products, with the shoeboxes to be delivered to children in need around the world. Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse. Since 1993, Operation Christmas Child has collected and delivered more than 169 million gift-filled shoeboxes to children in more than 160 countries and territories.
