Two Hurt In Sunday Accident

Jul 29, 2019 | Headline News

Two Princeton residents were injured in a Sunday afternoon accident on Highway 136, four miles east of Princeton.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Wenchel Dorzin, 34, and Mirlande Hector, 32, received moderate injuries in the one-vehicle accident. They were both transported by the Mercer County EMS to Wright Memorial Hospital of Trenton for treatment of their injuries.
The patrol said Ms. Hector was the driver of an SUV that was westbound on Highway 136 when it crossed the center line and drove off the south side of the road. The vehicle struck a sign and mailbox before returning to the roadway and then going off the north side of the road, where the vehicle struck an embankment. The SUV then overturned twice, coming to rest off the north side of the road, facing south. The vehicle was totalled.
Trooper C.S. Riley investigated the accident, assisted by the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department and the Mercer County EMS.
