Charges Filed For Non-Support

Charges have been filed against a Columbia man who has failed to pay child support in the past year.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Michael Sanders, a 30-year-old Columbia man, is being held on $5,000 cash-only bond after being arrested on a class E felony charge of non-support, owing at least 12 months of court-ordered child support as of March. The total amount owed as of March 31 was $16,068.
Sanders is scheduled to make a court appearance on May 28.
