Arbor Day Poster Contest Winners

Fifth grade students at Trenton Middle School recently participated in the Arbor Day Poster Contest, with three students selected as winners of the local contest. They include, from left, Evelyn Mehrhoff, first place; Tyler Dixon, second place; and Reece Weldon, third place. Evelyn’s poster has been sent on to state competition. The theme for this year’s contest, sponsored locally by the Trenton Tree Board, is “Healthier Me.” The students received gift certificates to Trenton Cinema, with Evelyn receiving a certificate for $25, Tyler receiving one for $15 and Reece receiving one for $10.
