The Spickard Board of Education met on Monday night, reviewing several reports.
According to information provided by Superintendent Burnie Schneiderheinze, the board adopted the DESE Special Education Compliance Plan as well as the 2017-18 Professional Development Plan. The Annual Secretary of the Board Report was also reviewed.
PTO representative Jennifer Wilson visited with the board about the “crow hunt” and soup supper scheduled on Nov. 3 and 4. A student field trip to Papa Charlie’s Pumpkin Patch was approved. Other upcoming activities include PTO-Pizza Hut Night on Oct. 17 and a fire prevention presentation on Oct. 20.
An executive session for personnel and student matters was also held with no announcement made.
The next meeting of the board is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 16.
