Funeral services for Twilia Knosby will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 16, 2016 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton. Cremation will follow.
Mrs. Knosby, a 79-year-old Cameron resident, died at 10:05 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2016 at Cameron Nursing and Rehabilitation in Cameron,.
Mrs. Knosby was born on June 25, 1937 in Trenton, the daughter of John and Pina Poppino Kennedy. She was married to Walter Steele II and later married to John Knosby, who preceded her in death on Aug. 8, 2007. She worked as a school teacher and counselor.
Surviving relatives include her son, Walter Steele and his wife, Linda of Cameron; step sons, Tom Knosby and his wife, Kelly of Lee’s Summit and John Knosby of Tucson, AZ; grandchildren, Jesse Steele and his wife, Melissa, Austin Steele, Skyler Steele, Matthew Knosby, Blaine Knosby, John Knosby and Evelyn Knosby; and great-grandchildren, Parker Steele, Carson Steele and Reece Phillippe.
In addition to her parents, and second husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Bennie Kennedy and Jack Kennedy; a sister, Eve Marsh; a granddaughter, Tracie Steele; and her beloved pet, Cappy.
