For those who have been patiently waiting to cast their votes in the Nov. 8 presidential election, the wait is over – absentee balloting will begin on Tuesday.
Absentee voting will take place from 8:30 a.m to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday in the Grundy County Clerk’s Office, located on the second floor of the courthouse. The clerk’s office will also be open from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Nov. 5 for absentee voting. Absentee ballots can be cast until 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 7.
