The Trenton Middle School softball team picked up a road win in Princeton on Tuesday night. The Lady Bulldogs scored a 9-1 win in the A game and completed a sweep of the Lady Tigers with a 4-1 win in the B game.
In the A game, McKayla Blackburn was the winning pitcher, allowing a walk and a run while striking out 10. Lexi Whitaker was two-for-four with a run scored at the plate and Maci Moore went two-for-four as well.
In the B game, Moore had an inside-the-park home run and Jillian Nichols and Hollie Lots were both one-for-two. Kennedy Norton was the winning pitcher, allowing one run on a hit and three walks while striking out one.
Trenton will host the Trenton Middle School Softball Tournament at the Ebbe Sports Complex on Saturday. The tournament begins at 9 a.m.
