County-Wide Local Use Tax On April Ballot

The Grundy County Commission signed a court order on Tuesday placing a local use tax on the April 8 ballot.
The county attempted to pass a county-wide local use tax in April 2013, but the measure failed, as did a local use tax placed on the ballot by the City of Trenton. A simple majority is needed to pass the tax.
