Amanda Drake, 32, Warrensburg, pleaded guilty to burglary and stealing. She was sentenced to serve six years in the Department of Corrections, with the sentences to run concurrently with cases in Johnson County for which she is already incarcerated.
Scott Ewing, 43, 1802 Bolser St., had his case moved to Harrison County on a change of venue, with a one-day jury trial scheduled for Feb. 5, 2013. He is charged with assault.
Amber Calivere, 23, Trenton, pleaded guilty to stealing and had sentencing set for Sept. 13.
Travis J. Vasey, 22, Galt, had imposition of his sentence suspended and was placed on probation for five years, with the condition that he serve 30 days shock time. He had been charged with second degree burglary and theft of a firearm.
Lynn D. Shipley, 33, 1325 Tindall Ave., waived formal arraignment and pleaded not guilty to child molestation, endangering the welfare of a child, sexual misconduct and incest. He is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 9.
Lynnsey Christie, 27, 105 Maupin St., had her probation revoked on charges of second degree burglary and stealing. She was sentenced to serve four years in the Department of Corrections on each charge, with the sentences to run concurrently. The court retained jurisdiction for 120 days.
Brittany M. Thomas, 19, 2210 Bolser St., had imposition of her sentence suspended on four counts of forgery and was placed on probation for five years. She also pleaded guilty to another two counts of forgery and was placed on probation for five years.
Ryan Lynch, 33, 1308 Norton St., had a one-day jury trial set for March 12, 2013 on a charge of assault.
Dennis Busby, 57, formerly of Trenton, pleaded not guilty to endangering the welfare of a child and had his case set for Aug. 9.
Curtis S. Wheelbarger, 32, 907 E.17th St., had his probation revoked on an original charge of distri-bution/delivery/manufacture of a controlled substance. He was sentenced to serve eight years in the Department of Corrections, with the court retaining jurisdiction for 120 days. He is to be placed in an institutional treatment program.
Melanie D. Byrnes, 32, 1845 E. 28th St., had a two-day jury trial scheduled for March 5, 2013 on a charge of endangering the welfare of a child.
Neil Jaquez, 22, Orlando, FL, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of misdemeanor child molestation. He was sentenced to serve 90 days in the Grundy County Detention Center, with credit given for time served. The original charge was felony statutory rape.
William K. Swartz, 18, 1609 Main St., pleaded not guilty to second degree burglary and had his case set for Aug. 9.
Lauren Weaver, 21, 911 Kumler St., had her probation revoked on an original charge of passing bad checks. She was sentenced to serve four years in the Department of Corrections, with execution of the sentence suspended. She was placed on probation for five years with additional conditions.
Nathan D. Wagler, Bloomfield, IA, pleaded guilty to careless and imprudent driving and had imposition of his sentence suspended. He also pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated and was sentenced to serve six months in the Grundy County Detention Center. Execution of the sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for two years. He is to serve 15 days of shock time.
David Shiner, 20, 1307 Tindall Ave., was sentenced to serve seven years in the Department of Corrections on charges of forgery, with execution of the sentence suspended. He was placed on probation for five years.
