Judge Steven D. Hudson
Rhonda K. Boggs, 38, 1201 Lawn St., pleaded guilty to fraudulent use of a credit or debit device and was fined $200 and $116.50 costs and is to pay $80 restitution.
John J. Kennah, Marceline, had his case certified to the Circuit Division on charges of passing bad checks. Trial-setting was scheduled for Jan. 13.
Dean A. Gugin, 47, 120 Highland Ave., had his cases certified to the Circuit Division on charges of failing to provide proof of insurance, speeding, not wearing a seat belt, second degree burglary and operating a motor vehicle while his license was suspended. Trial-setting was scheduled for Jan. 13.
Tiffany N. Peterson, Kirby-ville, pleaded guilty to stealing: by deceit and was fined $200 and $116.50 costs and is to pay $30 restitution.
John W. Wright, 38, 115 W. 11th St., pleaded guilty, pursuant to a plea agreement, to violating a protection order for an adult. He was placed on probation for one year and is to pay $50 to the Grundy County Law Enforcement Fund.
Daniel T. Rickey, 36, Bethany, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of speeding and was fined $200 and $58.50 costs.
Todd P. Shannon, 21, Chillicothe, pleaded guilty to possession of not more than 35 grams of marijuana and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. He was fined $300 on each charge and is to pay $116.50 costs.
Matthew F. Jenkins, 1604 Carnes St., had his case certified to the Circuit Division on a charge of assault of a law enforcement officer. Trial-setting was scheduled for Jan. 13.
Bryanna D. Kidd, 20, Jamesport, had a charge of speeding dismissed.
Francisco J. Capo, 45, 1010 Avalon St., waived his preliminary hearing and has his case bound over to the Circuit Division on a charge of stealing. With no opposition from the state, the defendant was allowed to post a $10,000 O.R. Bond, with special conditions. He is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 13. His case was heard by Mercer County Associate Judge Brad Funk after Judge Hudson recused himself from the case.
