The Major Dale Stepp American Legion Post No. 31 of Trenton will host a veterans benefits workshop at the Legion Hall on Saturday, July 17.

The event will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., during which time applications for benefits for veterans and their families will be processed. Applicants are reminded to bring a copy of their discharge papers.
In addition, the post will hold a community appreciation open house from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Hot dogs, cold drinks and coffee will be served.
