Trenton Municipal Utilities has issued a boil water advisory for Tuesday so that workers can tie in a new water main.

The advisory begins at 3 a.m. on Tuesday and will continue until 9 a.m. on Wednesday, unless otherwise reissued. Water will also be off for three hours from 3 to 6 a.m. Areas affected are Ninth Street, from Main to Custer; Monroe Street, from Eighth to Ninth; Eighth Street, from Monroe to Haliburton; and Haliburton Street, from Seventh to Eighth.
