The Trenton Fire Department was called out shortly after 11 p.m. Wednesday after a caller reported a fire in a toaster oven.

According to the fire report, firefighters responded to 1524 E. 17th Street, where Amelia Urich had reported the fire. The fire had already been extinguished when firefighters arrived on the scene and they took action to ventilate the smoke from the building, which is owned by Morse and Sons Properties LLC. Firefighters were on the scene for about 30 minutes.
