The Trenton Middle School wrestling team opened the season with a home match Tuesday night. Trenton hosted Brookfield and Marceline at the match.

Trenton had nine wrestlers in action and had an overall record of 13-11. Individuals wrestling for Trenton included Brandon Dolan, who went 2-1; Maria Stevenson, who went 1-2; Austin Busch, who went 0-3; Alex Lovell, who went 0-2; Wyatt Coffman, who went 2-1; Jacob Spillman, who went 3-0; Kaleb Ewing, who went 0-2; Clay Oneal, who went 2-0; and Morgan Schelker, who went 3-0.
The TMS wrestlers will be back in action Thursday night at home, hosting Cameron at 6 o’clock.
