Robert W. Noe, a 61-year-old resident of Trenton, died on Friday morning, Feb. 2, 2007 at Apple Ridge Care Center in Waverly.

Robert W. Noe, a 61-year-old resident of Trenton, died on Friday morning, Feb. 2, 2007 at Apple Ridge Care Center in Waverly.
The body was cremated under the direction of the Slater Funeral Home in Trenton.
Memorial services were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 5, 2007 at the First Assembly of God Church in Trenton. Rev. Dan Wilford officiated.
Mr. Noe, was born on Feb. 8, 1945 in Trenton, the son of James Lloyd and Zella Lee Ratliff Noe. He graduated from Trenton High Schools in 1963. He then graduated from the University of Kansas in Lawrence, KS with a bachelor’s degree and where he also played football. He then graduated from the University of Missouri at Columbia with a master’s degree. He taught school in the Trenton R-9 School District, where he was also an assistant football coach. He was also one the first counselors at the former Sunrise Center at Laredo.
He was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Trenton.
He is survived by two daughters, Amy Harris and her husband, Kevin, of Trenton and Julia Holles of Liberty; his mother, Zella Lee Noe of Trenton; one sister, Jeannie Smith and her husband, Bill of Trenton; two brothers, John Noe of Mercer and Jimmy Noe of Norwich, CT; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father and one grandson.
Memorials are suggested to the Lexington Hospice in Lexington. They may be left or mailed to the funeral home.
