A total of 175 persons have requested absentee ballots for Tuesday?s Special Election in which voters are being asked to approve a one-half cent sales tax to pay for the construction and operation of a county/city law enforcement center.

A total of 175 persons have requested absentee ballots for Tuesday?s Special Election in which voters are being asked to approve a one-half cent sales tax to pay for the construction and operation of a county/city law enforcement center.
Of the 175 requested, only three have not been returned. Persons have until 5 o?clock tonight to vote absentee in the election, with polls open for regular voting from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
