Trustees of North Central Missouri College today finalized a contract with Ronald Max Peterie for the purchase of property located at 1200 Mable St.
Negotiations were discussed by trustees in an executive session held as part of the trustees? regular meeting Tuesday. The Missouri Sunshine Law requires release of the information upon finalization of the contract, which was completed this morning. NCMC will purchase three lots from Peterie, including the site of the R & K Glass Company, using funds earmarked by the late Dorris Rider at a price determined by Mrs. Rider in the amount of $150,000 plus mitigation costs of $3,500. No public college funds will be used in the acquisition. The exact plans for the use of the property have not been announced.
